Animate numbers from one value to another
Set a start value and an end value and LayRun animates between them over the duration you choose. Counters can move upward or downward, use decimal places and include a custom prefix or suffix.
That makes the counter useful for statistics, milestones, percentages, totals, scores, amounts and other changing numbers that need to be placed over video.
Control the timing
Choose the animation duration and add a delay before movement begins or a hold after the final value. LayRun supports 24 or 30 frames per second so you can preview the timing before exporting.
Style the counter
Choose mono, sans or serif text, regular or bold weight, text size, alignment and colour. You can add an outline, shadow, prefix or suffix and position the animated value on the canvas.
The studio can also add text, rectangles, ellipses, triangles, lines and your own images, allowing the counter to become part of a complete overlay rather than only a number.
Transparent, solid or green background
Use a transparent background when your editing workflow supports alpha video, choose a solid colour, or create a green-background version for chroma-key workflows.
Export WebM, MOV or MP4
WebM and MOV are available for workflows that need transparency. MP4 is available for broad H.264 compatibility and fills transparent areas with black.
Other LayRun overlay tools
You can also make a countdown timer overlay or a progress bar overlay.
